Abstract Notification
Notifications will be by email to the presenting authors only.
Additionally, the deadline for oral and poster presenters to register is
30 June, 2011. All presenters must be registered and paid by this date.
Authors not registered for the meeting will have their abstract
withdrawn and their presentation slot will be forfeited. Only registered
authors will have their abstract printed in conference materials. Thank
you for your patience and understanding.
Oral and Poster Presenters
- Poster size
Posters will be presented on 120cm x 80cm display boards in
portrait orientation(i.e., 80cm as horizontal length and 120cm as
vertical height.)
- Replacements and Corrections
No modifications, including author and affiliation changes are not allowed after 5th July, 2011.
- Withdrawal
All presenters not registered by June 30, 2011 will be automatically withdrawn and their presentation slot will be forfeited.
- Abstract Acceptance
- All acceptance notices will be sent as a bulk e-mail. Many
times web-based e-mail accounts (e.g., Hotmail, AOL and Yahoo)
automatically send bulk e-mail messages into the junk mail folder.
Please check both your inbox and your junk mail folder for your
acceptance notice.
- If you have not received your acceptance by 30th July, 2011, please contact the ICEO&SI2011 by e-mail at iceo_si.2011@mail.ntou.edu.tw
- It is the responsibility of the presenting author to ensure
that the ICEO&SI2011 has a valid and current e-mail address. This will
ensure timely disbursement of your abstract acceptance notice.
- Session convenors will do their best to accommodate authors'
preferences for oral or poster presentations. The number of oral
presentations accepted for an individual special session, however, may
be limited by the availability of oral timeslots. Therefore, some of the
abstracts might be moved to the Poster Session. However, some
presentations might have a chance to be moved back to the Oral Session ONLY IF the Presenter's name is in the list of potential replacements and the cancellation occurs.
- Session convenors reserve the right to reject submitted
abstracts that are poorly written, do not follow the submission
guidelines, and/or are completely beyond the scope of the conference.
They also have the right to move the abstracts to more suitable
sessions.
NOTE:
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DOES NOT CONSTITUTE MEETING REGISTRATION.
All presenters not registered by June 30, 2011 will be automatically withdrawn and their presentation slot will be forfeited. |
